What Does an End-of-life Specialist Do?
An End-of-life Specialist looks after a person and their family as the Client approaches the end of their life, usually in their own home. There can be just me in the residence or a small visiting team of Assistants working alongside GPs, District Nurses, and others.
I have been an End-of-life Specialist for many years . I have helped clients and their families prepare for the journey ahead with a high level of respect, dignity and empathy and have managed to ensure that when the death occurs, it has been in accordance with my clients’ wishes.
My role is to act as an advocate for the Client and their family by arranging and coordinating the specific level of care needed; from arranging equipment and its delivery which will be vital for the caregivers, to working closely with medical teams to ensure any medication is on hand.
I am not a Doctor nor a Nurse but I do know how and when to access the right help. I have very good relationships with numerous medical and support teams.
If you require more details about my role as an End of Life Specialist, do please get in touch via phone call, email or the form message.
